Today was Mr. Oh's first day. Quizzes were returned and rest of period was spent working and taking up review questions.
Trigonometry test next class. Students with extra time will be permitted to stay after school.

Trigonometry Problems
Over the past few classes we have solved trigonometry problems using the Trig ratios, sine law and cosine law. A problem set was given today (extra handouts available in class) to prepare for an upcoming quiz.

Cosine Law
Cosine law can be used for any triangles to find an angle or side. Remember that the angle and the side that is being solved for need to the the same angle-side pair.

To find side length or angles of triangles that are not right-angles, we can use sine law. In fact, sine law works with any triangle!
